Just Play Games is a new company that will provide high-level console gaming and tournaments. We strive to bring the best competition for the best games and to stream all of our tournaments and events live!

Time: 12pm-12am

Cost: $25

Prize: UP to $1,000 for 1st , 2nd Beats By Dre HeadPhones , 3rd $50 Gift Card to store of choice

FORMAT:
Each match will consist of 3 round matches
Players will face new competitors until they are defeated
Players who lose must give up their seat to the next competitor. Players may reenter the Exhibition as many times as they like.

On 8/25/12 the top 30 players with the longest win streaks will move onto the second week!

How is the prize pool distributed? (aka 1st, 2nd and 3rd get what percentage of $1000).

So let's say the VF tournament gets 16 entrants. How much would 1st get?

edit - 'Moves on' to 2nd week? lol wtf kind of tournament is this? Is it a reality show?

 

I'm guessing this tournament will run for WEEKS before you get the $1,000 pot that's promised. All the while they will continue to collect $25 per person each week until they decide to end it. I'm sure the end will most likely come after they have made enough money to cover all the pots plus a profit.

I'm guessing, but that's what I think if you ask me.

 

Why not Monday?

 

If you read the flier it says up to $1K so depending on the people who enter will determine the amount.

We are located on THE OHIO STATE CAMPUS with over 50,000 students not mentioning the local community. We all ready have over 200 sign ups. We are doing two weeks so people can still walk in during the first week not the second week. Second week is the winner week. New people are signing up everyday. We are trying to get as many people as we can so you can get paid to play Virtua Fighter 5!!!!! Sound good if not sorry for missing out for one the biggest payouts for your suppose to be favorite game!! You get two weeks of playing your favorite game and we think thats a great thing!!!

 

It's not so great for out of town players who would like to attend. I guess if any out of town players decide to go then the second week is the best option unless you can't win if you don't participate in the first week.

This is our first tournament so we will learn from our mistakes, but mostly its to get the college kids and the Columbus, Ohio community to know there is an arcade now in there city where you can win money for playing Video Games.

Yes you do have to be there first week in order to move on to second week! Sorry for the inconvenience but future tournaments will be different.
