I wonder if Sega is working on like a VF5 Final Tuned (or something like that) and maybe they'll release that for console.

It would sure beat repeating the VF4 era problem of releasing an excellent console EVO and then screwing everyone outside of japan with Final Tuned.

In this last period VF5R doedn't seem played a lot in japanese arcade. Sega should think about a home version...

Man I thought not getting VF4FT was annoying...

I just watched an hour's worth of movies from the VF5R thread and boy oh boy does that game look incredible. New graphics engine? New animations? New characters? New music? New moves? More balance? New costume? New items? BINGO!?

Give me a day or so I'll try to get IGN.com to post an article about VF5R. No I don't work for IGN or know anyone there really well but have some email addresses of employees and I'll pester them a bit.

Also I found a disc of old VF4 footage including the KSII intros, some random footage from KSII (including Shinz/POS Akira vs Kyasao and the VF10th Demo). The reason I'm mentioning this is that at KSII Sega previewed the PS2 version of VF4:EVO including not just the 10th mode but that goofy hyper-comb-battle thing as well.

I guess Sega really abandoned console VF after VF4:EVO.

 

Tell them it's related to BlazBlue and they'll cover it. That is if they're not wanking themselves into early graves.

 

Ah, must be the victory of the WMAC II at VF4: Evo. No, that's not it, it only had footage of VF4 tourny (SBO? 2003) and the Evo footage was added in. And It had a mediocre VF remix. Beat it and you'll understand.
