    Kamaage of vfdojo.net has worked very hard at providing the VF community with a database of VF5R competition and tournament matches! With this excellent resource you can search for your favourite player by their Ring Name in English!

    Furthermore, you can click on a Character link to see a list of all the currently indexed Players for that player. This is a great one-stop-shop to watch character specific matches at tournament level!

    Once you select a match to view, a new browser window will appear with a YouTube link, along with some html embed code for all you bloggers out there.

    A further mention should be made to Kamaage's YouTube channel ArcadeCoreJapan. Make sure you subscribe if you already haven't!

    A special thanks to Kamaage along with all the Japanese players that helped to translate Ring Names into English, solely for our benefit!

    Dennis, it works fine on my iPhone.

    Remember that the web browser on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad doens't support flash but clicking on a YouTube link should automatically take you watch the video via the YouTube app.

    On a serious note, I would love to make apps out of the command and combo list databases, along with some "training games" I have in mind. Unfortunately, these little pet projects are too low priority for me right now.

    Well, you sort of already have one with VFDC and/or YouTube. Both allow you to search in "English" by default [​IMG] Or do you want a clickable search list?

    Well we (as in VFDC players) could agree to add for a specific tag to our matchvids in youtube (like "VFDC") that would consolidate the searches with the minimum of excess vids.

    What do you think?

    I think its a good idea, but afaik we only have about 5 people who load up videos, or have the possibility to do that.
    So, imo, adding a VFDC to our Vids would be more reasonable than a own Database.

    The vfdojo movie database has ceased being functional for a while now, ever since kamaage changed domains. This thread is being made "unsticky" until such a time it makes a return, if ever.
