Virtua Fighter 4 EVO : UK BATTLE TOURNAMENT - Media!

Hi everyone,

Yesterday as some of you may know we had a VF4Evo Battle tournament. As I have promised to you - back on the other board - I will post two video with one of them being an Exhibition match and the other a Highlights video. Right now the Exhibition match is currently LIVE, I will upload the Highlights video trailer once I've finished it.

This thread will be moved to the media section soon. Anyway, I watched vid and I love the start to it.

As for the match it was slow to begin with, I thought it was been played in 50hzt for a second, lol. Both of u seemed to be getting warmed up after the 3rd round tho so good stuff in the end. Can't wait to see the next batch of clips and of course the tournament itself.

 

GOod match....a friend of mine will meet KneeNinja in their group of absolution 2k4.

Nice editing on the intro, though i felt it wasnt really needed and just added to the huge file size. As for the match i'm not to sure why you chose to capture that one as it wasnt very good. /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

 

well AA a good match is something one cannot define... though normally me vs hatim is a good match... (it musta been worse than some of the stuff from TAGVF for you to say something though)

but yeah, you cant say "i dunno why you posted that match, as it wasnt very good" man cant judge, unless the match is one guy getting completely owned because the players arent evenly matched or just 3 TFT ring outs on the small stage, that kinda thing...

Actually i can judge weather i think it's a good match or not as i can base my opnion from matches that i have seen of kneeninja. I know that this match was nowhere near his best, anyway i'm not gonna keep on going on about it because it seems like this guy made a genuine effort and i keep on hearing he was a good host and all so i'm gonna let this one slip. /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Seen the new Exhibition match, that's a little bit more like it in terms of game play even though I didn't think Kneeninja's Lion was saying much, maybe that's not your main character Knee. I think I've figured it out now Gavin, you have to win the exhibition match otherwise it doesn't get posted on your site.

Anyway what really impressed me though was the editing man, it's great. I love the introductions for each player. Man I'd love to know how to edit like that.

Hehe it was you KneeNinja. But yes, pretty obvious that you hardly play him. Well, obvious for those who knows you! LOL!

Anyway, you don't need to worry because a) Its an Exhibition Match, and b) we know who won the tourney. I'm looking at the final match right now and dang, it's hot!

I hope everyone will love what I did.

Heh, I certainly wouldn't mind working on the Absolution DVD, but ultimately, they would need to comply to my wishes to ensure the DVD to be great.

 

Gavin trust me that Lion is not me, I know my play style and that is not it /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

On top of it I don't play Lion, not anymore anyway.

I know its you because that was the only time I beaten you with happiness and I typed up "ABOUT TIME!" on the save system.

Anyhow it sincerely really doesn't matter, seriously your performance in the competition was nasty. VERY FAST! And everyone is going to see that. THis is merely the silent before the storm.

Heh, Saur is also on that team. It's a pity he couldn't make it for the tournament.

 

Very nice video editing.

I think that the combo I did in the video teaser was just about the only good thing I did in the Tournament, I completely flopped under tournament pressure and made way too many mistakes.

Still was a good experience for me, I'll level up and do better in the next gathering.

Would you like to have the FINAL bout running in 60fps video? Because I'm thinking of having one LOW resolution version and one HIGH resolution version running at 60fps. It look absolutely awesome when you see it, almost no different from looking at the game when you turn on your TV.

What do you all think? Would you like to have this option?

 

yah u should do it at 60fps. But only for the final bout cos the file might be big. Do the whole trny on ur regular size and low size. And prolly have a seperate video for the finals.

 

hello.. is there a problem with the file? i started downloading the video using download accelerator but now, i can't download it anymore.

i tried starting a new download but it still won't work..
