I tried looking up some more info and registering for early access, well have to wait and see, I used to like TCGs when I was a kid (MagicTheGathering/Pokemon) but who knows if this will be anyfun.

Great that Sega are doing this, from what I remember the Tekken cards phone game did pretty well, it'll probably help promote the game to a bigger audience, and is a good sign that VF6 might not be too far off.

I'm having a hard time believing that Sega somehow convinced Yu Suzuki to work on this without promising him something big in return.

Either VF6 or Shenmue 3....or something....

I assume if its for IOS or Android that it would be available in the Play store and App store the only concern i have is will it be available in english, probably not but would be nice.

As Unicorn mentioned, Yu Suzuki has been doing mobile games exclusively recently. His new business YS.net is pretty much for mobile games. I think he's just semi-retired and/or mobile games are just a simple and relatively lucrative market he can take part in.

Would be nice if this is somehow a prelude for VF6, but I wouldn't bet on it, Sega loves mobile games and quick money-spinners now.

Not just SEGA. 99% of Japanese developers love mobile games and quick money-spinners. This is a real headache for us, the gamers.
