Virtua Fighter Series Rundown

Pretty cool video and a good rundown of the Virtua fighter series. Yes I know he says "virtual" instead of "virtua" but he apologizes for this in the description of the video.

Now wait a fucking minute buddy, where's the game case of VF5R on your table? There isn't one is there buddy, fuck off with your shitty rundown of VF, I agree with ash I don't think he stuck around long enough to face Abruptaddypaddy, Darthminion, Aloneraginglion, Neverstop4ever, Beligerent Feck ( /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif ), Temptingatusi and Bdoubleblade. Sorry for the thousands of others I can't think off the top of my head, thank you Raven for showing me that there are idiots who try to comprehend the complexity of VF with statements like that. He doesn't know how it feels when you have to wait 20 seconds for Bdoubleblade to show up because he's jerking off from pictures of sarah, thinking he's some kind of royalty and we all are peasants so it justifies we wait for him the king, and then match starts and a gust of lag envelopes the stage and your paralyzed from mega-spam, and he disrespects you with a pounce after the end of the round as if what he's doing would work offline. If this was offline- no lag and I would K.O. him 3-0, and pounce me after round and I will K.O. him in real life 1-0.

That's just an example of one of many, there are unique stories for all, but it all sums up to the same shit, scums.

 

Whoa I didn't mean it to be insulting. I just thought that it was a funny video to show to the VF community.

First off this guy needs to learn how to breath whilst talking. Second, he is a nub who knows nothing about VIRTUAL FIGHTER!.

TC didn't say people dont spam in VF online , he said they don't spam as much as SC4 players. So if you actually listen to what the guy said instead of jumping all over him, you might avoid embarrassing yourself .

It's a joke when some twit who only started playing VF at VF4 blasts someone like this reviewer , whos been playing VF as long as I have, from it's inception. It's obvious he made the review for laymen. He only had 9.5 minutes to cover an entire series. Maybe he didn' t reveiw VF5 R because he doesn't have access to it, duh.

I was pretty entertained for this whole video. The only part that made me furrow my brow was how he spoke of VF4 as "meh, its an OK upgrade". Thats paraphrasing, of course. Like VF4 is chopped liver or something. Hmmm... Personally, I feel thats when VF came into its own and really started innovating way past the competition. But thats an argument for another time.

I honestly didn't know about the Wolf/Jeff inclusion in that wrestling game. That was really cool to see!

 

The sequel (Giant Gram) had those two and Kage in as well.

 

Yeah, in the third game, Giant Gram 2000, none of the VF characters appeared (aside from the "real-life" Wolf who was played by Jim Steele in All Japan for a short time) but in the create a wrestler mode, you could unlock certain characters' moves from VF3 by either having them done to you or by levelling up existing moves (Monkey Flip throw to level 30 becomes Koenraku (Kage's TFT), levelling Koenraku to 30 gains the Izuna Otoshi followup, Standing Powerbomb to 30 becomes Splash Mountain and so on).

It's one of the 3 best wrestling game series I've played, and has a pretty good fighting system.
