Was it a Pimp Slap or Buddha's Palm?

Two very ancient strikes. The Pimp Slap dates back to the
17th and 18th century French Duels. There are ancient records of the use of Budda's palm prior to first burning of the shaolin temple.

Now, the Pimp Slap is not meant to necessarily inflict physical pain on the opponent but rather social pain. The Pimp Slap is a status strike. It establishes who's who in the fight. Buddha's Palm on the other hand is a fortune telling strke and it will inflict physical pain. Once Buddha's Palm is introduced in a match, it tells you where the match is going an which fighter is likely to lose.

Now there are many variations of the Pimp slap, there's the back hand, there's the white glove wiff, there's the stiff four finger-to-forehead,etc. Likewise, there's buddha's palm, the palm of death, the dragon palm, but they all boil down to the same basic kind of attack.

The real Question:
How do you know if you been slapped or palmed?


If the strike only gets your attention (you've been slapped)

If the strike breaks your concentration (you've been palmed)

If the strike leaves four finger marks on your face (slapped)

If the strike leaves five finger marks on your chest or back (palmed)

If the strike stings (slapped)

If the strike burns (palmed)

If the crowd laughs after the strike (you've been slapped)

If the crowd cringes after the strike (you've been palmed)

If you feel like giving your opponent money after the strike (you've been slapped)

If you feel like giving your opponent an apology after the strike (you've been palmed)

If you feel like a little byatch after the strike (you've been slapped)

If you just feel little after the strike (you've been palmed)

Since both the Pimp Slap and the Buddha's Palm can happen so quick that you don't know which hit you, these are just some of the indicators that I use to tell the difference. Some of you may have different indicators.

Now of course some my h8ters out there are going to post why is Po starting this topic? So look yall, I'm just trying to help
