Does the round count refer to the amount of 'games' needed to win a 'match' or is the match decided with only one game of first to 3 round wins? This is something I havent been able to figure out from the official rules so Id like to hear.

Quick info: This coming WCG Asian Championships will include Japan. The japanese player coming to Singapore to compete will be Itazan. He won 2 Evolution Championships in USA. He is definately a solid Shun player that all of us will have to watch out for!

Unfortunately, there is no team represents for Taiwan... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif
On official website in Taiwan, this is "NO" option for VF....

As far as I know, some countries can choose NOT to send representive for certain games.

For the past 2 years, Malaysia didnt send any DOA players for Asia WCG. So I doubt they will send any VF players for this year /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

7th~8th is really just Singapore WCG National Finals.

9th~10th is for Asia WCG. They saved the cost of setting up the systems by combining both of them together.

And yes, Itazan is coming to Singapore! I am trying to get his MSN from my jp friend /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Just confirmed my flight, 7-11 Aug.

Itazan won't need to worry about me, I'm so out of practice it's not funny! I think the likes of danny and the guys from China, HK, and Korea will give him way more trouble!

In any case, it'll be a great VF tournament and gathering. I can't wait!

Nice man! Good luck to everyone. Do you have a GT? We should get some games in. Also, have you found a VF 5 machine there?

When I was in the Philippines a few years ago for school I managed to find a VF4, VF4 EVO, and VF: FT machine but in different SM malls.

LuCieD, I'm sure most will be bringing their own controller (Joystick or Joypad). Me, I'll be bringing my joystick.

dennis0201, I think the videos were pretty exciting and I suppose the players may have been nervous too considering it was a finals match!
