What am I supposed to do with 2 red rings??

I just turned on my xbox360 for about 10 minutes and then the fans ran like crazy and showed up 2 red rings.... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif

I trird to turn on again but the fans still full power running and I just turned it off.....

Two red rings equals overheating.

I had this happen once.

The reason? My hard drive wasn't snapped in all the way. I noticed that the rings happened only when I tried to save (GTA4). That gave me a clue.

I snapped my hard drive all the way in, put my 360 in the freezer for about 10 minutes (probably not necessary - but I wanted to play sooner) and it's worked fine ever since.

 

I'll try later and see what happen....
I also check the warranty and it's only for 3 dead rings about 3 years. On the other hand, can't I ship the console back for free repair??
Damn, maybe I need to buy another new one.......
