What characters do u make or make look like?

In fighting games with character customization or creation, what characters do u create or edit to look like what other characters from any other game or tv show, movie, anime, etc.

Games such as tekken 6's very creative customization, soul calibur 4' Create a soul or mortal kombat: armageddon's create a fighter, or any other fighting game with these features.

 

I don't make a majority of my female costumes look 'beautiful.' I like give people the impression of: 'What the hell did you just do to her? You've killed my many fanboy dreams of her!" Nothing disgusting, but whenever I can shoot for a creepy design, I'd go for it.


But I always tend to follow a scheme of one or two colors. Any items I add have to match and look good with the costume.


But to give an example where I try to replicate someone from a TV show or a game, I'll give an example of one of mine. In Tekken 6, you can create a spot on Bison/Vega with Jin's items.

 

Yeah I made my Nina Williams look like Aya Brea from Parasite Eve

 

I have no fashion sense and I think my characters exhibit that fairly well.

 

I was able to make a very accurate looking Sarah in Soul Calibur 4 with the fighting style that of Maxi's (Nunchaku) since it's basically some sort of Jeet Kune Do since that's the style (or was) Sarah uses.

 

I just see how certain characters from other games relate to each other and notice the certain items that are available for them...

For instance, Jeffry has items that literally allow him to look like Craig Marduk, so for awhile I had my D-Costume steup that way. Akira's setup can almost resemble Paul Phoenix, and I had him look just like that in VF4Evo... I'm pretty sure most people have either seen and/or fought a DBZ-inspired Lei-Fei or a Bryan Fury-themed Vanessa. I do the same thing in revese for characters I play with in other games, too. My Paul Phoenix looks like Akira but I can't change the hair type without losing the headband...

Recently, I've kinda changed that (just take a look at my Jeffry now)... For the most part I use whatever setup works... I do hate the fact that items are limited to a point system... VF4Evo had the best customization options imo... Aoi had better hairstyles, you could change the hair color without losing any head item, and there wasn't any point system...

 

But after 30 matches the colors would go away and to top it off everything was so expensive and you only got little amounts of money from what I remember.

Regardless I was planning on doing a customization series if videos. You really are limited though.

If possible, I'd like my own Character to use the costumes from other characters like Sarah's type C dress.
Also for female characters to use male characters' costumes...

I think that would be cool!

 

Personally I try to make Akira from Virtua Fighter look like Akira from Virtua Fighter.

 

That's a tough one how do you manage that?

I've always been a fan of making my characters dress as smartly as possible. I always thought people fighting in suits were cool, and it looks like most of the male fighters will have some form of business suit in FS.

 

If I had to pick a theme for my Virtua Barbies it'd be super heroes.
