1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Posted this at SRK as well, but seeing how most of us here like Yu Suzuki and his games more(if not the same as) Capcom games I thought I would post it here as well and wanted to see what you guys/gals(?) thought.

If you haven't heard about it, it's the new fighter from Yu Suzuki's new development team(Digital Rex), that duesn't use the traditional stick and buttons combo. Instead you touch the screen as your means of attack.

Personally I'm looking foward to VF5 and Hokuto no Ken when it comes to other fighters down the line, BUT, it seems pretty interesting seeing as how it's not in the traditional sense but seems more akin to a free-foating Phantom Dust. It mostly likely won't take off here in the States seeing as how the arcades in 98% of the U.S. are barely alive. Anyone in Japan gonna check it out, and will you post impressions?

Here's some info for those haven't heard of it yet.

It's Interesting to look at. Looks like Psychic force. Touching the screen to move about and do spells looks fun but I feel it has to be a bit more fast paced. From the videos it doesn't look that responsive to when he touched the corners to move his character.

Perhaps it might be more fun if they ported a light version of it to the DS.
