Well I was just playing some VF, and got knocked out of my seat by what I thought was a crazy glitch. Then I thought, " I'll write a book about VF glitches, sell it Barnes & Noble, and make some money", but I'm lazy so I just decided to start a thread instead. So dig out your favorite glitches, and share 'em.

As for mine, I was using Wolf and fighting Wolf. I was about 5 ft? from the corner in the cage and CPU Wolf did an uncharge shoulder attack, I blocked low and he flipped over and I did some throw action(I don't remember what I pressed) but when he was still in the air he all of a sudden used his yoga teleport;) to jump into 1P Wolf's Jackhammer(or maybe it was Steiner Screw Driver) at the peak of the throw. Man, my memory stinks, time to play some Simon.

So type and be read <font color="green"> </font>

    [Akira] - [2_][6]+[P]+[K] , [2]+[P] , [2_][4][6]+[P]

On the dblplm hit (I know this works in Ver. C because that's when it was discovered, not sure about Evo, though it is likely to work) the opponents legs will go into the floor, this is funny considering that they are in a parallel position to the ground upon float, but the dbl plm almost instantly knocks them verticle from the same height, which shoots their legs through the floor.

One thing I always consider a glitch, is when ever you use Kage's [6][6]+[P]+[K]+[G] to ring out an opponent, from a certain range up until the rings edge, you will end up getting the loss, as for some reason even though your opponent clearly leaves the ring area first, they do so at a higher elevation, so therefore the game registers that you in fact are the one that went out first.

What you desribed was Wolf using the shoulder ram of [4][6]+[P], and if you duck the attack, there is a special animation where he lunges over you /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif, thoug the rest is all glitchy....did you save the replay?

When both characters are leaving the ring, the first one whose body touches down loses by ring out...Since Kage's feet touch down all super early & stuff, [6][6][P]+[K]+[G] isn't a RO option for him unless the ninja is keen on seppuku.

In Version C, if you can KO your opponent with Jacky's [6][6][P]+[G] while sending yourself out the ring, Ring Out will be announced but you will get the dot. I've seen other funky/inaccurate announcements too, but none that I can remember specifically.

Also, not really a glitch but I just love when Akira's BT body check or DBC interrupts & the camera switches or Akira warps. Dramatic & Brutal Baby!

The coolest one is probably the training mode bug where you can put yourself or the opponent into the air and keep them there(search for training mode bug to see posts + movies).

It's kinda fun to see someone get rung out in the middle of a complex animation, and the opponent continues to suffer through the animation (i.e. I have a clip of someone eating goh's ground throw while goh is standing outside the ring, and there's another of someone getting screwed by vanessa's 270 while she's falling down the mountainside)

Not a glitch, but cool - in saturn VF2 a gameshark code let you swap move sets between characters so that e.g. pai could do akira's moves and vice versa. I wish you could get it on PC VF2 but it doesn't seem to work. I also wish they'd work out a similar code for evo.

I have a replay saved which featuring computer Lei-fei

and myself(Akira). In this replay, Lei-fei blocks my

single palm while he's back turned. He did not turn

around when blocking the single palm. He took it

with his back without any damage.

I am not sure it is a clitch or not, but it sure looked

weird for everyone who has watched the replay.

I will try to capture it sometime soon.
