Where can I play in Los Angeles? Any players out there?

Does anyone play in LA? Which arcades have the game?

Im always up for some game, but not till after finals week!! Theres about 20-30 some LA players that hasnt been talking in the last 2 months /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

 

As far as arcades go, there's one we know of that has VF4 EVO version A. It is Arcade Infinity in Rowland Heights (near Fullerton off the 60 Freeway).

Normally, though, we play on the PS2 and meet in various places in LA, Pomona, or Riverside. Ever since one of our main players left for Japan, no one has come together. What are good times for you to play?

Actually, I was big on the LA scene from 96-97 (VF2 and 3). I used to play at UCLA and Pac-Man arcades respectively. I haven't played in years. I tried VF4 and enjoyed it, but could not find anyone to play with me so I didn't play very much. I want to start playing again, but I hate those fucking gamepads for any fighting game.

Now I am a pretty religious PC gamer, but it really lacks the face-to-face excitement inherent in arcade (or console /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif) PVP.

BTW, I use everyone. Akira was my primary character in VF2 - Wolf in VF3.

Also, Chanchai (Nick, a Lion player, for those of you who met him at E3) is coming to SoCal and will be available to play on the 15th and 16th. From his message, it seems he might be able to host in San Diego on those days, but can also meet in LA as well, I think. Anybody available those days? I should be.

OK, Bryan (spotlite) and I are trying to nail down Tuesday the 16th as a day to meet. We'd be willing to meet at Chanchai's place in San Diego or play in LA/Pomona as well. Anybody free that day (and can host)? The tattoo shop is a possibility, with a later start time of course.
