Why do Japanese prefer F+KK over d+KK?

I'm currently on dial up, so I don't watch many vids. I remember someone commenting on a Sarah vid saying they could see why japanese Sarah players prefer /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif in float combos. I don't see a big enough distinction between /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif besides the twisting diagonally to the side that the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif generates. Is there some oki options I'm missing here? Is it harder to quick rise after?

Both of these combos do 80 pts damage:

    1. (MC)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif > /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif > /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif
    - (EI AO PA VA SA either stance) (EL GO BR KA LE LI SH JA LA AK open stance)

    2. (MC)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif > /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif > /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif
    - (EI AO PA VA SA *EL* *BR* *KA* either stance) (GO LE LI SH JA LA closed stance)

I tend to prefer combo #2 because it works in either stance against more characters. Combo #1's only plus that I detect is that it will work against Akira. Neither work on Jeff or Wolf.

/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif ender gives you WAAAYYY better wake up position. More time, closer to opponent.

Plus it causes a hard to tech fall that is also easy to confirm and get a free down attack.

IMO, if you had the choice, I'd always do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif.

OK, thanks for spelling it out for me. I'm detailing who and when the above combos work in the WIKI along with adding damage values.

edit: I don't think it takes longer to get up after the F+KK vs. the d+KK if you don't quick rise. Can anyone confirm?
I think F+KK floats opponent a little farther away. Maybe better for ring outs.
You do get a sideways lay down after the F+KK, which is a plus for okizemi.

F+KK is better. But d+KK working on El Blaze, Brad and Kage in either stance is huge IMO.

Im not aware that there are any differences with normal standing up speed. However, K,K will cause the opponent to spin in air making it harder to quick rise/tech roll as was mentioned before.

On the other hand, I believe d+K,K connects on lot lower floats than (F)K,K

That's true, but it's more likely a stance difference you're seeing. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif works better closed stance, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif is better open stance.

Noobs, its important to hold forward /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif when you KP or KK in float combos with Sarah. She moves forward slightly and increases the likelihood that the combo will be successful. Holding forward in fact, makes the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif>/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif combo work in either stance vs. more opponents (even some mid-weights)
