I bought it about 2 weeks ago. I actually finished it already without doing all the side quests. When I'm no longer busy, I'll start playing it again and try the sidequests.

I didn't like the graphical change before it was released, but it quickly won me over. I enjoyed fights more than I did in any Zelda game. I only have one complaint: it's too easy compared to the previous games.

Yeah great game, and great graphics, must admit I had a few questions before buying it, no regrets now though.

It is Nintendo's best game to date. If you get it, check out the Nintendo Gallery. Buy it right now...do it, you won't regret it.

I can't count how many hours I've spent on the Nintendo Gallery.

I just read in EGM in their Wind Waker Afterthoughts that there is a final figurine "that you can only get after first getting all the other figures. It's a very good one and that's the only way to get it."

Has anybody gotten it? Is it worth getting? I don't have time to get it myself for now. So, could somebody confirm it.

The island with the Tree...Forsaken Forest. After you get the Deku leaf go all the way up, using those plants that spit you out, and then there will be one last one go in there then through that door.

Adjust the wind accordingly glide to the island. Land on the island, feed a seagul, fly up and activate the switch to open it. Nintendo gallery awaits. Oh yeah you have to have the color pictograph.

God help me, I'm a nerd!

Not necessarily a nerd, someone who enjoys a great video game, and what a great game it is. It is a really fun game, with many things to do to keep ya occupied. I would recommend it to any one (except people who hate white people /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif).

Just got it the other day. It is a thing of natural beauty and absolute genius. I can't wait to get home to play it.

No you don't need arrows. You need the seagul bait. Get to that little island feed a seagul and fly up to the switch. Remember you must have the color pictograph !

Spoilers about getting the Deluxe Picto Box

You get the Picto Box after you complete the hidden maze that starts in Tingle's Cell on Windfall Island. The maze entrance is hidden behind a crate in Tingle's Cell. Here are the directions to complete the maze if you don't want to work at it. [4],[6],[4],[6],[8],[8],[8],[6],[8],[8],[8],[6] Use these if you want to. Open the chest at the end to get the Picto Box.

The Deluxe Picto Box is the color version of the above. In order to get it you need to do a couple things.
    1. Complete all 3 of Lenzo's tasks to become his Assistant.
    2. Talk to Lenzo again and get the Firefly Quest.
    3. Go to Forest Haven (Deku Tree) and using an Empty Bottle catch a Firefly (Blue/White glowing bugs) near the back walls.
    4. Return the Firefly to Lenzo and he will make you a Deluxe Picto Box.

*The alternate way of getting the DPB is by just completing the game. When you start your next game you will already have it.

Getting into the Nintendo Gallery Hatch is pretty easy. Go to the small island with the hatch on it near Forest Haven. You need to equip a Hyoi Pear which can be bought from most travelling merchants. Then activate it with your equipped button and you will take control of a Seagull. Fly the Seagul into the Crystal Switch that is opposite of the island on the cliff wall.

Now you begin a long and grueling quest to collect all figurines.

*Just for the record I may be the only person around who didn't like Wind Waker. I beat it only because I am a Zelda fan, but I felt it wasn't really worth the time. My only joy was beating the snot out of every Darknut I saw. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif The game IMO was too easy, graphics weren't as impressive as I first thought in previews (Everything not point blank visual was too fuzzy and distracting), and the story was mediocre at best. Out of the Zelda series only Majora had a weaker storyline IMO. Rock on if you enjoy it though.
