wolf?

Hello,how`s it going?I play wolf in the "Versus city mode in jpan and am tired of getting beat by all the card holders.Q How do I side step,get out of the way of attacks?Any help on this or easy win combos appreciated.Peace

 

Oh lol, no wonder you're getting your ass handed to you. /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif To sidestep, do or ; keep in mind you can't dodge everything. And there are no easy wins against good players.

 

That`s all? Up/down? any other simple moves?I get run over like a kitty when the big bad wolf should be eating like a feast.Thank you

 

VF is not a simple game. Go here, get the FAQ that's there, and read the system section from it. Then come back if you have any questions. Also, searching this board might help.

ur also learning wolf first off which is pretty bold, but i like the enthusiasim^^

Evo Wolf FAQ

Still working on the Evo Wolf FAQ... Ill send you a rough draft soon as I have something substantial to show so you could add to it from your side. Im obviously mostly concentrating on combos and sequences like my prior FAQ setup, but it would only be complete with move analysis and gameplay setups ( i.e. diff. styles of approaching a situation. My style works for me, but it might not work for other ppl. ) The more experimented players contribute to this effort, the more educated the ppl who consult the guide will become. ( Your Wolf, Srider's greatly improved Wolf, etc. Anyone with tourney level gameplay is welcome to jump in on this. )

I'll PM the template during the next week to those concerned or interested.

hey, thanks for the offer, but i'm probably not that well educated on EVO Wolf to contribute with any "fresh" information.. just my current style of play i guess. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

i'll see how i can help in any way, and share my way of dealing with certain situations and setups, infact i'll even start to help now by sharing who is probably the best people to ask on my side with wolfs who are good at handing my ass to me..

I've been real busy with alot of obligations so anything VF has taken a backseat unfortunately. The combo and sequence sections are almost done, I just need more time to finalise these.

lol, Terminator (Ryan Hart), i remember Ryan! he used to kick our arses in 'King of Fighters' series. i wonder what happen to him......never seen him in the arcades for ages now, i guess most of the players (including me) had moved on. plus not many (major) tournaments is held in london anymore, a real shame.

cool, i'd like to see it myself.. i'll add anything on my side, but i'm pretty comfident you've covered alot.

i have a couple of cool flow charts, catch throw setups and mind games going, as for combos, he ain't really got many new ones to miss other than mabye: MC SS~ p~ HCB+p ~ reverse hammer on lightweights and mids which is'nt really used much due to that b+p ~ pounce is still his most powerful combo.
