    Calling all London area VF players!

    On Sunday 7th April, 360 Gaming will be hosting VF for the first time at one of their spectacular events.

    As part of their now regular tournament days at Tooting Tram and social, 360 Gaming have agreed to host a day of VF5FS casuals alongside their tournaments for KOF13, TTT2 and UMVC3. They are providing an opportunity for the London area community to come together and show what they can do, with a view to getting us included in future events. As this will not be a tournament you are free to come along any time after 1pm to get some matches in, and more importantly to meet the rest of the community and talk up the strong points of VF (check the BAS interview post below for inspiration if you need any!)

    Tooting Tram and Social is a great venue, right next door to Tooting Broadway tube on the Northern line. 360 Gaming have an incredibly slick set up for their events, make sure you check *these pictures* to get an idea! There are plenty of places to get food etc in the immediate area of the venue.

    For this event they are giving us 2 setups using XBOX 360. You will need a controller, but if you haven't got one don't worry you will be able to borrow on the day. 2 setups will provide an intensive opportunity for everyone to watch each other's play and pick up vital advice. We should all be looking to help each other level up, and to give newbies a chance to get to grips with the core mechanics that make the game so good. Hopefully some experienced players will be making it along- keep an eye on the comments to this post!

    Hope to see you down there at some point on the day. First impressions count, and it would be nice for 360 gaming to get a good first impression of the VF crowd. With developments at Heart Of Gaming also taking shape, now is potentially a great time for VF to catch on!

    Just to clear things up, i'm assuming the games are run on 360 consoles? is that correct for VF? what about the other games?

    Big thanks to everyone who made it to the event, especially MarlyJay for all the promotion and publicity!

    It was a successful event, and the organisers at 360 Gaming were happy with VF on its first showing.

    There were some really nice trophies given out to the winners of the tournaments that were hosted there- something for us to aspire to if we can get tournament numbers together in the future!

    Next stop Heart Of Gaming!
