12 month late update of VFDC thread, but things are still going on a regular weekly basis!

Europe PSN League, 2nd Quarter Week 8

Current Leader - Khan Rhan (AO)
Khan Rhan maintains the top spot for 4 consecutive weeks, getting one first place finish and BoxPizza getting two first place finish last weekend.

Europe Steam League, 2nd Quarter Week 8

Current Leader - Henpyxa (PA)
The largest leader board this quarter so far with 25 different players getting a top 3 finish! The top 4 on the leader board remains the same as of week 7. D-X Lau got 2 first place finishes making him jumped 10 places higher on the board. 40i4 won the second league which was a full 16-player league room. We also have VF veterans Ares Olimpico and eisenbuegelhammer (STPRock) participating for the first time in the Steam League.

North America PSN League, 2nd Quarter Week 8

Current Leader - Chanchai (LI)
Chanchai remains at the top spot on PSN side for 4 consecutive weeks. live4eva won 2 leagues, while Setsuna won 1. Chanchai's lead narrows and with 4 league sessions remain for the quarter (`12 leagues) everyone still has a chance to be at the top!

North America Steam League, 2nd Quarter Week 8

Current Leader - daRockReaper (BL)
Real Noodle won the first league of the day (8A), raising some eyebrows for his strong performance. Chanchai won the second league (8B), putting him at the top of the leader board briefly before daRockReaper reclaim the top spot by sharing a first place finish with Blurring in the last league of the day (8C). In the last league, Blurring's only lost was against daRockReaper, but in the final round HecticFall defeated daRockReaper creating the tie. Every player ina league is a factor of the outcome! Speial Shoutout to LD Wells for getting a hat trick for third place).

Some emergency repairs to the house, so no #VF5US #VF5REVO league session this weekend July 5-6. We will start the third quarter on July 12-13.

Also July 26-27 and August 2-3 weekend no league sessions as that will by my yearly family reunion.

 

The league leaders for the 2nd Quarter of 2025 -

Chanchai (LI) for both NA Steam and PSN Leagues

Khan Rhan (AO) for EU PSN League

RagingMARS (GO) for EU Steam League.

3rd Quarter of 2025 resets the leader board and will be from July to September. Every week with a break on July 26-27 and August 2-3 as those will be the annual family reunion for me.

Some reflection and a lot of looking back at old data, I will likely TRY (emphasis on try, don't know if I will be able to maintain it) is do what these league sessions was best for - recognizing all participants, where everyone knows everyone.

 

As of Week 1 of the 3rd Quarter, leading each league in top finishes.

No Akai League sessions for the next two weekends as it is the yearly family reunion. I will restart the league sessions (Week 3) on August 9-10th weekend.

 

Spreadsheet keeping track of player participation and for future use. We have over 400 participants since started hosting league session in 2022. We are closing in to 200 participants for 2025, and maybe 100 participants just for the third quarter of 2025 (July - September).

Hey everyone, I need to take care of some family health issues so I will not be hosting league session on August 15-16. I hope to host again on August 22-23!
