Goh Vids

I'm hoping for some recent goh vids with either jaga, kanetsugu, kejiko but they seem really hard to come by. I miss mana and akape too...unless they changed their names to something I don't know...

I learned a few new things from jaga, kanetsugu and kejiko's old vids but I've pretty much exhausted all their material already.

good set ups learned so ppl don't have to watch them all:

-shoulder > stagger > PK hit(or P block) > OM > side 5K going for CH combo or side advantage (not guaranteed but good at catching those who freeze up from stagger > PK sequence)

-6P > buffer 33 fuzzy guard+TE to shoulder or throw after confirming block or hit.

-66P hit > 66P if both hit you get lots of advantage and back turned opponent its guaranteed back throw I think does lots of damage. If they block 2nd one then you retain +3 I think and can go for throw/CH knee or mid. (Good strategy to apply to K+G and BT P+K hits that leave opponent sideturned as well since many good opponents know it is common to fish for sideturned CH 5K > combo)

-jump descending P > low throw guaranteed low throw on hit decent oki to mix up with

-236P+K > PK or throw (only seen it work one time but since there is hardly any reason to crouch guard against Goh it might be useful against players with tight defense)

I like doing crouch dash to 5K/throw the most since it is so solid but I also recommend copying from top goh vids these good oki mix ups: regular or crouch dash to 46P+K/66K+G/4K/3K+G

These are entertaining vids, thanks for sharing. I'm going to assume these are online match replays.

You are fighting some mediocre players though. Not one player ducked your . A good player will know to duck the second punch and punish you. This might be harder to do online though. Also you got very lucky at times interrupting with or when you were at great disadvantage. Don't make that a habit.

You should also work on your combos. When you had someone in the air you always did a finish. Notice in the Goh mirror that your opponent is ending combos with which does more damage.
