Yep, long time no play. I noticed the connection was a lot better too, I think it's cause it was pretty late here. My shitty internet seems to be less shit past 2 am.

You seem to have improved a lot since we last played, just couldn't work your Brad out at all. Was great getting smacked about like that though, i'll see if I can get you next time

Thanks for the compliments Social, it'd been a long time since we had played too. Fun games, shame about the connection though. I think I got away with a lot on your Lei cause of the poor connection.

Haha, that twirly arm move seems to be working quite well. I never really used it before but recently it's been working quite well. Maybe it's just online but the move seems great

That's a nice Jeff you got, not sure why but I really struggle against your playstyle, it's even more of a struggle when i'm playing your Lau. Fun games though, You got a 5 streak at the beginning, then after that ended it was back and forth all the time

Assassin CP, first time i'd played you. I was totally unprepared for it too haha. You've got a nice Goh and your defense is good, i'll have to be prepared for that next time

I had a hell of a lot of fun, I dunno if you can hear me through your TV but I was pretty into it.

Loved our Wolf vs Jacky matches. You have improved so much since I left.

Also, at one point in our Akira mirror matches we had the most epic ring out ending to a fight, it was so bloody tense.

You mean the ring out battle that started after I escaped your 1p+g? That was pretty tense, everything we did put us back to the edge and we couldn't get each other out lol.

Also ggs to kingofvf4, I was so proud that I finally got a win streak on you! 5 wins... but then you went and destroyed it with a 10 win streak

 

I think that thread that Llanfair made has something to do with it
I got on a few days ago and almost half of my friends that were online (about 5) were playing VF
That's a huge step up from 0

Good games to all the people I faced the last few days, I faced quite a few people in the last few days and I enjoyed the games very much. I even made a few new friends tonight that is always good.

 

ggs to fearlesswretch. Don't know if ur on vfdc. Make sure u switch up ur attack patterns if its not working. Less 1kk, and a little more G will help. I know it's a real tough transition though.

I fought fearless wretch earlier and too and his use of DMPK and 1KK was something I told him about early on. He said it only a set up for other mixups but I would like to see what hisother mix ups are though

 

does he use pai or lau?

i'm guessing pai, b/c rumor has it lau's dmpk sucks

 

lol, his other mix ups are NOT doing dmpk and 1kk Give him credit, he hangs in there, and he wants to get better. Even when taking a losing match or 2, he tells me he wants to be able to give me a game. He has a good outlook.

he is a good pai player, I gave him alot of credit. He caught me offguard with his tactic. Pais online are hard to find anyways, especially decent ones so I befriended him.

 

Haha, you punk it's cool man, trust me, please trust me on this one: I hate Jacky too.
BUT after playing against human opponents I realize what makes him so much fun to play: he's an asshole.
Man, I can't tell you how funny it is to me when my 5 move (less?) Jacky gives people problems I can't do that with Brad! I can kinda do use 5 moves with Lau and cause a bit of problems but not as much as I can with Jacky. The guy is just a jerk, lol.

He's not OP or anything like that but he can def annoy and irritate even the best players out there. The crazy thing is I'm a Jacky noob (I mean he used to be my main in VF2 and VF4 but he changed too much and I haven't used him since) but now I see how I used to lose sometimes to the scrubbiest Jackys... kinda wish I woulda stuck with him now just because he's such a pain in the ass

Very long sessions man. I loved playing long games, was that like 1 hr and half?. I like ur style of play too, its different from other players i play. Nice mixups, very hard to defend against ur kage. Lows 2p dmpk mixups were very good and done at nice times, which i am now trying to incorporate in my game. I only played ur Kage awhile ago, u may not remember.. I was a really bad player b4, didnt know u play so many characters well
