Please justify this

Microsoft really slacked on the D-pad on the Xbox controller, I'd say 1 in 2 controllers have a horrible Dpad, the quality control for it is horrible.

 

Get a Hori stick or whateva then you won't have no excuses.

If your looking to get better that's a poor excuse. I'd rather hear that you don't have any money to spare or something but anyways I, as probably many others, went through the same thing as you and after getting used to the stick my game improved tons.

It's really worth it... unless your a casual or don't care about getting better.

 

Or you can just whoop ass on a dpad like me

True each on i brought when out. I think Hori is short for "horrible"

 

Try 360 degree rotations on a dpad to struggle out of stuns. IMHO, thats the best way to escape stun/dizzy when using pad...works for basically every fighting game.

But yeah, get a stick

 

Never knew buttons make a difference, the most frustrating thing online for me is a player who focuses on staggers that I know I can break offline. I'll give button mashing a go.

My pad struggling is admittedly hit or miss.

 

Think of stagger recovery as a move or technique. I once heard Betabow say something like: "Yeah. Two spins and two taps get me out of that." It changed the world as far as I was concerned.

 

Saying playing on a pad handicaps your game is just stupid. Stop being bad and learn to break staggers.

Yep. Playing on a pad is not a handicap. However playing on a XBOX PAD is.

 

I play on the official xbox pad? Are you saying i have unintentionally placing a handicap on myself?

 

Whats awesome is I play on the offical xbox pad and beat people using a stick that are considered good.

That means with a stick I must be chuck norris.

All this training in 100x gravity is too much.

I have to conceal half my power when playing with meer mortals.

This must be what Denkai feels like all the time.
