A bit? =) If these things stand Pai will just be about poking to setup throws. Everything unsabaki / reversal like (7k+g, 336p) is P on guard. 2p>7k+g won't be fun risk/payoff wise. I kinda get the feeling they want you to use 2p MC > WS K which simply won't be fun imo. Staggers weaker also = /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif I'll probably charjump if these things hold, I'm hoping they cut back on the nerfing a little bit. I think it would be more fair if they nerfed her throwgame amongst other things tbh.

TBh I'm with you, I didnt find Pai that much in need of a nerf. I would have been ok with FC f+P remaining uncounterable for instance.

 

Money on Pai and Kage will still be very good =(

Don't know how Sega go about balancing the game, but presumably the first stage would be to get the best players for each respective character to see what strategies they can come up with; which kind of makes me wonder if it has ever crossed the mind of any of these players to purposely throw games so they get a better chance in tournaments /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Any updates on Version C gameplay changes? Would love to hear them, many thanks to those taking the time to translate what information is out there.

 

I played a little bit of Version C when I was in Tokyo for a weekend...

There is a cool new icon for people who are trying to complete a quest: a treasure chest with chains around it. As they get closer to accomplishing their goal chains around the treasure chest disappear... It also tells you how close you are to the goal, for example "five more opponents to go!"

There was a bingo game where you would get a game piece every time you won... I got bingo and got an item orb...

Almost all of the Kage changes listed previously in this thread are untrue... His TFT is still 64p+g, he can still go into hurricane stance from PK, the damage on hurricane 2kk might be reduced, but I don't think his moves from it are more counterable...

After the match is over, a number will pop up, and both players will fill in a square if they have the number on their bingo card.

I guess think of it like both players playing in a game of bingo with their own cards, and after each match, a ball is drawn.

 

Yeah Ogi said that alot of info would be fake. The location test is now over isn't it ?

 

Someone should probably change the post to avoid confusions...it's probably gonna be changed again soon anyways though.
