Judging by that Sarah vs. Goh clip, Sarah can also do /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (stagger) -> FL knee combo sequence that yielded 72 points damage. Wow. With just this (and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif) Sarah is guaranteed of not being in the bottom tier.

 

Aoi vs El Blaze is Lion's stage music from VF2 and Aoi vs Jean is Akira's stage music from VF3.

I think it's safe to assume that if a stage has different music, then it'll be a previous game's music of the character who the stage belongs to.

We've seen both Lion's VF2 and VF4 music, Pai's and Akira's VF3 tunes and Wolf's VF5 one, so I'm guessing that even the VF1 tunes will make an appearance.

 

So awesome, I love the old tunes! I really want to hear shuns tune from VF2. That was prolly my favorite.

It looks like the recovery time on Jean's rolling heel kick, the one that gives that really heavy stagger on hit and can lead to well over half of your life lost, is not punishable on guard. I can see that it's a slow move but it looks like it can go under high attacks so, I'm not sure bc there is no frame data out yet but that move should be treated as a launcher and be heavily punishable on block imho.

I haven't been keeping up with the Jean vids, so I can't say how many people have broken the stagger. If it is really uncommon, then the stagger should be made easier to break. I remember in an early version of VF5 how nobody was able to break from the stagger from Brad's PT /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. Now seeing that stagger broken is a common sight. I think that's a better solution than making it heavily punishable.

 

It's not easy to judge the recovery of the roll out of this video since the Lau player doesn't attempt any retaliation after blocking it. The stagger seems a bit like vanessa's roll, kindah hard to struggle.
