One interesting point for me was:

"I've always thought this, but as a community moving forward, I want to make the connection between Japan and overseas stronger especially in this community, and right now in Japan, we have a big 5-on-5 tournament called BEAT-TRIBE CUP. Even if we don't use the BEAT-TRIBE CUP name overseas, I'd love to see similar events, 5-on-5 or 3-on-3, held abroad, to grow the community on a global scale, and through this synergy, I think the skill level will be also improved."

There seems to be more interest and momentum to get team-based events to happen...so we will see!

Japan has one advantage, that on a small area (comparing to other regions like EU or US) you have many player. However, we can copy that anytime in US or EU, or even beat it. ^_^

Yeah, with REVO having decent online, I think that finally gives NA an opportunity to close the gap, if players are dedicated enough. The scene in NA is so spread out, geographically, between a few pockets in different cities that rarely got to compete against one-another. Meanwhile, the population density in Japan is so high that there's no lack of ability to play other competition at a high level. Japan obviously has historically had a larger, more dedicated scene, but I am fully onboard for some regional NA VF team battles. I'd really like to see that become a reality.

This dude was awesome to watch play. I knew (had a strong feeling) he was going to win after watching his first match. He was on a different level.

My favorite moment was when he did that big "WOOOOOOO!" after winning one of those matches against Itizan (I think it was) while looking at him, lol. Dude was on fire.

EDIT: Just want to say. The main reason I liked that moment is because I didn't feel any malice or anything like that from it. It felt like he was just trying to bring the hype.

This guy is my hero lol.

he reached a level with Jacky that literally eliminated the flashiness and was just pure defense and accuracy on strikes. No wasted movements. Like he was Bruce Lee himself. Everything streamlined…. And most of all.. HAVING FUN‼️

Japan's railway system is one of the reasons I am scared to move back to the US. Its amazing that I dont have to depend on driving to get to my destination anywhere thats not deep in the countryside.

Yeah, I live in one of the few cities in NA with a half-way decent transit/subway system, and leaving that behind would be a hard bargain for me. I 100% get it.
