Hello. I go by Acid. My steam handle is Acidesthesia. I'm located in the US. I play Lei-Fei. I'm okay at the game. A Defender on a good day, Barbarian on a bad day. I haven't lost rank yet, but I sure got wrecked today. It's amazing how talented the community is. I've been lucky enough to play a few high ranked players in room matches, including a well known Lei-Fei player. I felt like I played well, but I could just see him simply out thinking me. So I went 0-3. The other night I played somebody who switched characters every time he beat the rest of us with the last. Nothing to do but stay humble and try to pick something up. Though when he switched to my character I salvaged a scrap of dignity with a win. I know it's a borderline waste of time for such player to play people at my level, so I always appreciate it. I prefer room matches to ranked, though I've played more ranked. I like the mix of skill levels. I enjoy spectating. I get into the matches while watching.

GGs. Sometimes you put together moves in an order that would never occur to me.

I got to mirror match Banok a couple times the other day, which was cool; 1-1. There's something special about a Lei-Fei mirror match. I also made it to Warrior today. I never reached Warrior in Ultimate Showdown.

I only run it back if the connection is good and the player is not an a hole. T bagging etc!

I lost a match to a teabagger. I reckon he was teabagging because he beat me with the very basics. I adjusted and ended up winning the set.

How often are you getting bad connections. When I started I had lots of teleporting opponents, and I thought it was the connection. I lowered the graphical settings, and upped the delay to three frames. Now I almost never get even a slight hiccup. Try that if you haven't.

I do not get bad connections often. However in order to play cage the connection has to be good. I know shun is faster than him and I lose to him because of connection.

I've hit a ceiling at Warrior. I can't hold a winning record against Warriors/Veterans/Berserkers. The only way to get better is acquiring a wide breadth of knowledge. Going through each fighter and learning strategies for their common tactics. I just have other hobbies with higher priority, but hitting a ceiling is unsatisfying.
