The retirement... err... stupid thread.

Well here it is folks. The official retirement thread. Figured this was just about necessary as numerous threads have been derailed with an impromptu retirement announcement. Wether you've burnt out, faded away, are waiting for version R, or found other hobbies that require your precious free time, here's the place to let everyone know about it.

I'm not trying to be a douche but i rarely want to play VF5 because i know R is around the corner somewhere. The style i use to is now subjected to change once R drops because of the tweaks so i don't wanna bitch and complain about what got nerf just because i was'nt open for change. I got back my groove a little but its like VF5 is tainted.Why quit now when are is about to drop? I ain't knocking nobody who plays VF religously.Im in fact jealous because i wish i can at the moment.

Crazy thing is I still think about it everyday, but something keeps me from taking the time to sit and play VF5 lately. I've been out of the game for over 3 months. I guess this means I'm waiting for VF5R.....for now.

 

I'm always been a gamer, it so happens that fighting games and shmups are my favorite genre's. There's plenty of other games we(VFDC)could play, something Konjou spoke about during NYG7. I have Gears 2(360), R:FOM 2(PS3), Mirrors Edge(PS3),Socom(PS3) and Dead Space(PS3)to look forward to. There's Fallout 3(360)where I'll most likely play during the new year, before KillZone 2 comes out \m/. Basically, I have plenty of games to HOLD me down until VF5R comes out.

 

I messed up...I dusted off the arcade stick and played again. The bug caught me. That retirement was as serious as Jordans. I'm back...it's just my skills that are retired.

However it will only last 24 hours until XBOX Live is available again. YES!!!!! No more Lag!!!!

I will retire VF5 pretty soon, I think. I mean I am already retired from it. I am tired from competiting, and even teaching VF. I will definitely get the feeling to teach VF when I am in LA

 

When are you coming to LA?

don't ask me about it! that rouses my interest in going to LA a lot! the ticket is pretty expensive from here compared to from seattle, but I know i want to go.
