    Please use this thread to share, test and discuss VF5REVO Jean Combos. The Content Managers have to ability to add these to the VFDC Combos database.

    Hey, I posted in the other thread but I just saw the new post you made about this. I'd love to help with Jean's combo page on REVO, I've already helped Razinoff with testing for Brad's but Jean has been my main for a while now and I know a decent amount about optimal combos from studying the wiki and Japanese players.

    I'm working on migrating and testing the old FS combos for the REVO page and making adjustments and cuts as needed. But other than that, personally I think having categories like [4][P] [P] (max charge) that simply directs you to another category is pointless, and I think expanding the generic categories named after hit effects like wall hit/slump or different crumples would be an elegant solution and reduce bloat in the combo list. However, before I take any liberties I'd appreciate any feedback to see if anyone has disagreements with this idea or thinks it's misalligned with the rest of the combo pages for REVO.

    My perspective is certainly biased in already knowing how these moves function and which hit effects are which, a newer player might miss [4][P][+][K] combos entirely if they were folded into a "Stomach Crumple" category. So I can't confidently take this liberty without feedback from others.

    You'll find some more detailed discussion on this in the Content Manager's forum, but yeah, let's not exhaust the combo list with category (launcher) placeholders that simply redirect elsewhere.

    A happy medium might be to include the most common launcher (if there is one) for that hit effect (e.g. Stomach Crumple), but to also mention other attacks that produce the same effect. A good example of this can be found in Kage's combos, thanks to @VolcanoShed:

    Since the consolidation idea came along I did stuff like this

    and mentioned possible character difference possibilities in notes instead of having separate categories but also instead of just calling it "stomach crumple".

    My current problem with this solution is that while the combos are possible from them all, they are pretty much unrealistically hard to time from some of them while one of them is just dial that stuff in timing. This might also be a pretty character specific problem though.
