The Virtua Fighter Circuit is back for VF5REVO, kicking off in Oceania this Friday 27 June 2025, and coming to a region near you, soon!

If you're new(ish) around here, you might be thinking what the big deal is about? Well, if you head over into the Ranks section of VFDC and scroll down to Inactive Leagues, you'll find the full results of Season Two of the Virtua Fighter Circuit tournament series that was the brainchild of, and managed by, @akai. This series was run over the two active (at the time) gaming networks (PSN and XBL) for the North American and European regions. Here's a quick recap of how they ended up, over ten(!) years ago!

The winners of these series all received a special forum title banner that adorned their posts and profile. Despite the delay-based netcode and challenges with the various console networks at the time, most would attest that this series was a great experience for all involved, both in terms of improving your skill and having fun. So, with that in mind we're hoping to recreate that pressure-cooker environment to supplement the already busy competitive landscape filled with leagues and regular tournaments with this gem that first started on VFDC all those years ago.

    The New VF Circuit!
Following on from the spirit of that series, VFDC will be organising a series of Online VF5REVO Tournaments where the winner will receive an exclusive in-game title (Oceania sample shown):

The first of these tournaments will be kicking off in Oceania this Friday. See the Schedule section below for relevant links.

I'm working closely with SEGA on this one, so stay tuned for further updates and more news for the upcoming regions!
