also GGS to you mister. i'm not a big fan of room matches, i prefer player matches.
i'm way to rusty atm for big room games. i can't remember my combos and i think player matches speed up my 'recovery/remember/feel the flow' process. LOL

anyway... maybe i come back to FS... even i don't like the gameplay changes...

Actually I was not sure going into custom outfits was worth it. I've been trying to play less VF for a while in order to move on to other games (Anarchy Reigns being the first on the list), but on the other hand this game is so good I can't help but play at least a few hours per week.

So I guess it's worth paying for costumes although I am usually not 100% comfortable with paying for customization items (and DLC in general, but that's another story).

Maybe I should develop a new character: I have been through most movelists trying to find a second character that would suit me; so far Pai (who almost became my main at one point), El Blaze, Eileen and Sarah seem nice to play, with interesting mix-ups and reasonable execution requirements.

 

I didn't realise you played others, have only ever seen you with Lion hehe. You can just get the one outfit set for 400, but unfortunately you still won't be able to see all the others. I personally think if you are playing this game long term, changing the visuals around a bit every few days just keeps you sucked in even harder. I usually hate all this modern DLC stuff, with exploration games charging for levels etc., but in SEGA's case, adding up the whole package, it has felt a reasonable outlay.

I only play Lion a little bit myself, but if you look in his forum section here, a basic combo like [keyboard num-pad directions] 23P, PKP, 66KK looks pretty cool and does decent damage against most of the cast. I was able to get that one down pretty quick and go on there with a bit more variety than some Lion players online who give him a bad name with their dry low-hitting routines.

 

I want to give gg shotouts to LA Akira, Shiny Brentford, Waverusher Kobi, and Sevensided. When you see me on the streets @ the Sega cup its destiny...

Other gg shotouts goes to Gunsniper_Ls, WEIAND, and James_Kenobi.

Those who make room matches, keep on aking them it's a lot of fun and we keep getting better. At times I just cant stand ranked matches at times.

I think I'm going to pay for the remaining costumes package-deal (I already have the one including Lion). That's twice 1200 pts + 1200 pts for the game, which means it adds up to 35-40 € (depending on how much one pays for MS points).
If only Sega would announce a disc release with all the FS stuff, after all they've done it for the first Dreamcast ports, and Ubisoft has also released a XBL compilation recently.
