Ask them to donate some form of prizes, I know it wont be much but some free arcade sticks or whatever they have laying around could be nice for some people at NYG.

Ida, you're so famous now! But we have to make NYGX-2 professional. Only commentary and witty banter on the mic/stream. We have to show them the professional side of VF. But they could back us up with CONSTANT promotion, their brand name to generate buzz, maybe a little funding (tourneys, prizes, etc.) I wish you could be the VF Marketing Exec Ida. Maybe they would actually listen to our ideas and thoughts.
Pot bonus money. Like how NRS puts $1000 pot bonuses for MKX tournaments at Combo Breaker, etc. If SEGA doesnt do something like that, nobody's going to care outside of competitors, which is against the whole point of sponsorships. No, sending old overstock of HORI sticks doesnt count (Hi Grade sticks will be nice tho)
I'm sure they'll give out something, They gave a pair of fightsticks to a random scene up here a year ago, no reason they can't give anything to an even bigger tournament
I still have the NYGX-2 main graphic and t-shirt prototypes kicking around on my system. Hopefully we can get a finished product ready so we can get those designs to the printers, if you're looking to go down that route.
