Why do we pine for the next thing when there is so much work to do on our play level here in NAVF? Playing with Kamaage and his crew really drove this point home. Improving one's yomi and technique (mastery overall) and seeing results is satisfying - even in a relatively unpopular VF game like FS. I'm reinvigorated and will continue learning to play correctly, and I hope others do the same.
I'm all for that @adamYUKI . The problem is and always has been that there is not enough players to go around and constantly fuel the drive to keep improving. At some point it just gets stale only playing the same 5-6 people over and over for X amount of YEARS. Sure you can keep improving but not at a satisfactory rate in my opinion. I think improving is actually taking longer due to the lack of players. :(
What we need is players to get out of the shout box and get online. Also it would be great if all current active players played under 1 roof which should be XBL but we know that's just not gonna happen. Mainly because of monetary reasons i.e. buying systems, subscribing to XBL, etc.
Honestly I wish I knew how to fix this ongoing problem this community has been plagued with. We have a decent amount of players but the problem is getting them playing consistently and then reducing the huge skill gap between everyone.
