Never mind. I figured out it’s the average of their best performance and they both have one low score pulling the average down.

I didn't think it was the average, I thought it was an accumulation of you best five results over a rolling 12 months?

It appears to be the average of your best five. That way you don't just get point for going to a large event and placing well then doing poorly for 5 other tournaments. It's modeled after the US tennis ranking system.

Just to confirm: it's the average of your best five results dating back 12 months. From within the Rankings page, you can always click on a players name and view the events (in the 12 month window) that are going toward their current rank score.
