first off my mom is dead, and no it was defect from the day I got it, I just never bothered to send it back.
Actually I have 4 PS2, but one of them is burned out. and I paid about 150 bucks for VF4.
Get yourselfes a Jap PS2, problem solved! I got 2 US and 1 Jap PS2 so I never have to do thoose stupid swap things.

I suggest you get yourself a arcade stick as well for the PS2, as playing VF on a pad downright sucks.
