100% emblems in Quest mode?

With 1600 games, I just beat 100% of the arcades and opponents in Quest Mode but I still have NINE emblems remaining. (they are all Alphabet) I haven't encountered a Tournament where an emblem is listed as the prize in over 500 games. At this rate I would need to wait 4500 games to hit tournaments with emblems as their prizes.

Is there something I should be aware about that I'm not doing? Do the emblems show up in tournaments where the prize listed is Gold?

Random tourneys give you emblems as the prize for 1st place. Some emblems are also gained by defeating rivals.

 

Did it for the PS3 version with Wolf. Don't know how it works out with 360. Grab a notebook and find out who you have and haven't fought in Quest mode bounce in and out of each arcade and see if you can find an opponent without the star. It took me a while to do this so don't give up trying, and happy hunting.

 

Thanks for the replies , but as I stated I beat 100% of the rivals and arcades. I'll keep playing until I run into the proper tournament.

 

nice i'm about 95% done myself. i would've been done sooner but i had to return the game.

 

You could try saving it on the match before the tournament starts, just keep saving it every one or two matches. It's a pain but when the tournament comes if it's not an emblem you can reload the file and you only have to win one match to get the tournament again.

 

Guys, are the emblems necessary to get the trick that gives you shitloads of money for any new characters you start quest mode with?

Because I really dislike about 90% of the emblems, not really sure I want to get them all...

Yeah, you need 100% for rivals, items and emblems. You probably have to do all the official tournaments too but i'm not sure about that.

 

You probably fought everyone, but you have to WIN against your rivals to get their emblem...

If they're all Alphabet emblems, he's supposed to have them if he fought everyone, cuz you can only get them from other players. Something's wrong then...

 

I've had this same problem. It's probably a glitch that doesn't give you the emblem even though you've beaten all the Rivals.

In order for me to get 100% I had to buy the Bradygames guide and re-fight all the rivals again to make sure the game gives me the emblems.

If you know which letters you need, I can look into the guide and help.

i am pretty sure there are some people that get added to the arcades that are not part of the rivals lists, don't know if they have emblems or not.

 

Right, the alphabet don't seem that special to merit nine tournaments with emblem prizes. I'm also thinking it's a glitch.

RayBlade, that would be FANTASTIC if you could provide the names of the opponents with the missing emblems. When I play tonight (or tomorrow) I'll let you know which they are.

In VF4Evo if you gained an emblem from someone and then fought them again and lost they would claim it back. You would have to defeat them again to get the emblem back.

Maybe its the same case in VF5, I'm not sure. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

 

Okay, I uploaded screens of the pages containing missing emblems. Rayblade, would you still be able to help me out with this? Two of the missing emblems are kanji...I seriously hope I don't have to hit any tournaments to get these!
