So, i like to know how many hours i put into a game. Wii is sweet enough to do it for u, but i dorked up and i keep track of how many hours i play vf5 on paper. I'm closing in on 100-- 92hrs 45mins, and i only have 350 or so online games and 400 off. I see people with thousands. This game has potential to break my record for hours dumped into a game. I think my bro smb and me spent around 300 hrs in tactics. maybe 4. tell em smb, how we got down on that one. Disgea gof over 200 hrs as one of the gteatest level grinders ever. How many hours do u think you've played VF5, and what r u guys past go to games?

Dude!!! I love you for pouring that much time into FF Tactics and Disgea!!! I played those games till my hands were worn through!

I'm glad there's some other SRPG fans here. I find those games ridiculously addictive. Even more so than a game like Oblivion. Especially in FFT with all the secret/special items and Disgea with weapon worlds, there was enough to keep you playing forever.

Glad to know there are more of us SRPG fans out there... Atlus is going to take care of 360 fans with a couple of upcoming SRPG releases. The first one is already out, "Operation Darkness" but it got uber-panned by every review I've read so I'm pretty wary of buying it...

As far as VF5 goes, I'm certain I'm over 1000 hours at this point... VF5 has true, life-sucking power!!!

If you ever played Gears of War or Halo 2 you know whats life sucking power is. Since a lot of is on ya'll first 360 with game only i'll allow ya'll time to catch up.I guess thoses are the reason why i suck at VF5 now lol!

I took me two to three hundred hours of playing Oblivion before I realised how horrible that game is. Most I ever remember seeing was my Disgaea save file, which was over five hundred hours... and Laharl was still only Lv. 5000+ wtf?!

I'm guessing it's more for VF5 as i've played it virtually non stop since it was released last year.

Shame there's no way of telling in VF, I think there's some kind of counter in Quest mode somewhere but it doesn't count time spent on it outside of Quest mode... Even if it did count all the hours, I have autosave off and rarely save it which is ghey.

Yeah Oblivion sucked. They took all the greatness of the previous installment and made it easy for the hand fed newblets...

I spend lots of time in MMO's and I would have to say VF is the only console game that can compare to time spent in game. Between Evo and VF5 I must have spent well over a month of total play time.

FFT all the way baby. Hey Gernburg, did you ever go gameshark on it. Ohhhh yeahhh baby. I played with Gafgarion as my main, lol. You don't even know. You could do anything on that game with the gameshark, i was raining down unlimited range choco meteor (beefed the power up of course) with Gafgarion, and the tele-2 ing around the screen. Mad awesome. (of course this was on our 50th time through the game). there were some sweet tricks you could use outside of gameshark, but with the game shark and the baseadder codes....we were gods my friend. Pure and simple.

Hey jb, don't forget about madden 200? with Ray Lewis on teh cover. It had 100s and 100s of hours involved.

Disgea, wow. with the weapon worlds and the more monsters you killed the stronger the weapon, and levels, silver and gold, right? And then you get a brand new weapon when you finish it. Pure fantastic.

Most time consuming part about the weapon worlds was killing the weapon specialists in your weaker weapons/armour so you could then tranfer their stats to your most powerful weapons/armour, to make them even more powerful . That shit took ages but it was worth it /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

7 doesn't take that long, 60 hours ( if you're slow haha ) i'd say. FF10 took me about 180 to do everything but I think you could do that a lot faster.

Morrowind was a truly SICK game. Oblivion was great too but it wasn't done right. The "difficulty slider" will ruin any RPG instantly.

One of the cool things about Morrowind was wondering into the wrong dungeon and finding high-level monsters to test your skills against. In Oblivion, it's always hard, but there's no sense of accomplishment cause it just keeps sliding as you level up.

Plus, if you managed to get some high-powered weapon early on Morrowind, it was good for a long time. In Oblivion, your items are constantly obsoleted by the slider... Bethesda better not F up the next one!

FF Tactics and Disgea are two of my favorite games of all time... I don't know why I like SRPGs so much. Technically, they're boring as hell... But they're still fun for some reason.
