Saturday Slugfest is the premiere Seattle Monthly Tournament for Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown!

The event is run and organized by the good folks at GameClucks who bring you the weekly Thursday Night Fights and more.

In August, Slugfest II saw MasaRED storm the tournament and win after an epic battle with Seattle's rising star (in SF, KOF, and VF!) Duncan T in the classic VF2 battle of Shun vs. Lion. Mike B (Femto) also made quite a display with El Blaze in taking 3rd, but he's hungry to retake 1st.

Slugfest III will be bringing the heat and will be the perfect tournament leading up to the End of Summer!

While GameClucks regularly streams events, Dante's is not currently able to handle streaming so expect the matches to be archived.

11 or Less people: 75%, 25%

BIG REMINDER: Saturday Slugfest III is happening THIS WEEKEND @ Dante's in Seattle!

And trust me, the best way to train for a big tournament (like End of Summer) is to play more tournaments, especially a big monthly tournament like the Slugfest! It's also the best way to stay competitive, honest with yourself, and feel the adrenaline rush of competition as a fighting game player! If I could go to Dante's, trust me, I so would!
