    Notes (PLEASE READ)

    • Participant Limit - There is a limited number of allocated spots and those who pay 1st will get priority over those who haven't. So pay early and guarantee your spot in the tournament!
    • Venue - The venue is the SAME as Revolution
    • Catering - One of the big issues we had was that people had to walk quite a distance...for some water. We will be sorting this out by selling stuff at the venue! Cans of Coke, Water, 7UP, etc. Will be keeping the costs to a minimum so like 60p a can but we will keep you informed about it. Please suggest some drinks that you want to see, we will try to get them including hot drinks like GREEN TEA! Also due to the food around the area not being to a decent standard, there is a possibility of food being provided at the Venue itself. If you are interested, and would like this service, please post your interest below or at our forums.
    • HypeMeter Removal - Yeah err...we're working on that. The council and the owners of the venue have said we are ALLOWED to turn it off....we just need to figure out how
    • Raffle - MAAAAYYYYBEEEEEE
    • Travel - If you fly in from Stanstead you can get into London from anywhere between £2 to £15 ONE WAY. If you get in at Heathrow you can get into Central London for about £5. You MUST get an Oyster or you are gonna get ripped off in London, hope you kept it from last Revolution!
    • Contact - You can ask questions at our forum http://sakurafightfesta.co.uk/forum/. Alternately you can contact us on Twitter @FROSTYBOLTY, @Rayokarna or @Firei_uk. Also you should follow @NthGenI for twitter updates. Email contact is nthgeninteractive@hotmail.co.uk
Here is a picture taken at the end of Revolution 2014 - Don't we look happy :). Here's looking forward to meeting you all!

Did I hear "raffle"? I'm in! I guess I may as well stay for VF as well.

Also, you guys do realise that there's an nearly endless amount of pressure on me to dominate this raffle too, and when I inevitably don't, hopefully you'll all realise that I merely got super lucky at SCE.

Or I can just not enter and say "I don't need to prove anything. I'm already the KING OF RAFFLES. Yeah, I like that option better.

We'd love it if you guys can come. We'll try our best to get enough prizes for a raffle, so it's likely. I'd watch it though, we have real raffle monsters at the Last revolution tournament lol, so good luck.

    Hey Unicorn.

I would suggest you stay here:

    http://www.traveljoyhostels.com/

It is roughly £25-30 a night, so I would suggest you get a group to fill the room so you can talk and have fun all night.

It's been recommended by previous players who came to Revolution, and apparently you get free breakfast, free soft drinks, and if you get ensuite, your room has its own bathroom facilities.

From this hostel, it is also 5-10 minute walk to Vauxhall station and a 15-20 minute walk to the venue.

I'm thinking about coming to this. Is VF scheduled for all 3 days?

I'm interested but I'll have to make decisions closer to the event. Flights are something that doesn't quite fit my student budget but this might be doable especially if the rooms near there are so cheap.

@cobratron - rough schedules are here at the bottom of the page.

    http://www.sakurafightfesta.co.uk/?page_id=152

The actual VF tournament is going to be on Sunday 22nd March, and Friday and Saturday will be casual days, although you are free to do your own tournaments in this time frame. Why not enter some other games while you are there?

@Combolammas - The more people the better man :). Everyone who came to Revolution loved it, so expect more of the same this time!

Ok I'm all set. I'll arrive thursday 19th and leave tuesday 24th. I also bought the pass for the event (3 days + vf5fs). Maybe I could have bought something less for the event, but We never know if we are going there or not for free play and it's a good way to support the fgc community

I'm surprised you haven't run into this before, but you could pull out the battery from the controller and just play with it on USB.

It seems that the problem isn t due to the wireless but it s due to the home button...

I think they are more worried that you might accidentally press the home button while your not playing. Removing the battery makes that impossible. And at worse, if it happens mid-match you just lose that round

Imho they are worried that you may press the home button and have the pad connectec by mistake to some other console. That may cause the other games to stop by an external cause. The solution about the battery seems right. @MakiLeSushi try to contact the organization and ask for details in this regard.

Unfortunately, we've been through this topic about ps3 wireless pads extensively with players with similar concerns. The thing is even if u remove the battery, it STILL syncs & homes to the ps3 it synced to before for a brief second the moment it gets power. We've gone through many solutions, but in the end, we cannot risk a 3rd party interruption ruining someone's tournament.

We would suggest getting a 2nd Gen PS2 pad instead. Its pretty close to the dualshock 3 and response times on that controller are excellent even when you use a ps2 converter for xbox 360 (I assume you're currently using a ps3 to xbox360 converter). That or use and Xbox 360 Wired controller.

Yes i actually play with ps3 pad with xb360 convertor. I tried to play with ps2 pad but the cross isn t smooth as the ps3 one so my inputs are slower and not done well. I could break the button home but i couldn t connect my pad. I ll try tto find a solution. Ty anyway
