OK, seriously you guys need to have a gathering b/c you're the only guys w/in the community internationally who hasn't not have one w/ a good # of players. I'm not being a dick about it b/c besides cali & NYC you guys are the ones that we haven't visited yet. The old evo scene had 15+ players

The current scene consists of about 4-6 players..

On 2 days holiday at the moment, going back tomorrow :'(. Man we've been mostly doing women's job, doing beds, cleaning the room/floor. And alot of running, though we've got to shoot AK with fake bullets, next week we get to go to the shooting track with a bullet that actually flys out of the gun. woot woot. 2 weeks without computer and tv...this is the hardest challenge I have accomplished.

p.s neo empire isnt UK VF, it's pre-wannabe-mabye-but-dunno-i-think-so-perhaps VF ~ LOL i remember what happened when EVo first hit the arcade scene, and then ppl dropped off like flies.

yes we play vf4:ft at casino most friday's,
no vf5 is not released in any arcade outside of Japan, you can search around for the various threads on it here, but the main point is we will have to settle for console this time around, ps3 or 360.

Filmed some matches yesterday though the play wasn't as good as the previous week, never is with the camera rolling! anyways should be up in a weeks time hopefully. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Has anyone got a ps3 they don't mind transporting around to sessions? (hey it's worth a try lol) ,
btw I've ordered the vf high grade stick.
We seriously need a decent venue for console play (I've heard people have issues with bringing ps3's to casino, don't blame them lol),
so until then it's vf5 behind closed doors invite only sessions I'm afraid until 360 hits and I can bring mine around to sessions/casino etc.

 

yeah it dosn't claim to be, it's a uk competitive gaming site,
if we want new players we have to promote otherwise it will just end up as end of evo days like you said.
They have to have a reason to come and play vf instead of the games they already know, like 3s and T5,
my suggestion of 2 on 2 rb season, with old and new player teamed up would give the new players more interest?
Anyways post ideas if you have them here,
or we could just continue with inbred vf until our hands grow 3 thumbs /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

 

I don't mind going down later to play some FT ?
