Yeah optimus I'm def going to start up a proper VF5 RB league, even if we only have about 6-8 players in the beginning I'm sure we will find new blood.

So far only 2 of us own PS3s and we don't have any converters / PS3 sticks right at the minute but I'm working on it and will hopefully sort out some things shortly.

Nice pics, seems like quite a few of you guys have the High Grades. I'm getting a pair of HFS3s but I'll be modding them with sanwas as I generally can't use standard Hori sticks anymore.

How were the converters to play with, any specific problems with lag or anything?

 

Casino London, what days and time you players normally go?

I was thinking about it over the weekend, but I'm such as VF noob so I wasn't too keen.

I'll be getting VF5 for sure, but I guess I could pratice a bit this week.

 

Hi to the new dude's who posted here, yeah we mostly play on friday after working hours in casino for a few hours,
since 5 is out that may happen less and less though as I am in the process of trying to organise a regular venue for 5 sessions

 

Ok, cool I popped over there today to ceck out the arcade, it's pretty decent, the controls took a while to get used to.

Played a few rounds of VF and some Tekken.
Not many people, but that's expected since it's only Monday.
I'll get a friend over to practice some more and maybe go downtown for a few rounds this friday.

Seriously can't wait to play 5 though, thanks for the response.

 

Got the PS3, got the game, had an orgasm.

Can't play on my stick due to the USB nonsense, so we've ordered two of those VSHG for the ps3.

In other news, I've seen both Ollie and Eddie in VF5!

Ollie, you got a 2nd Dan Aoi (which I pwned) and Eddie got a 5th Dan Jeff (which I pwned).

Also seen Kiwe, Konjou Akira and Plague.

 

Shaun, Stalwart is also in the game as well as Masamune and a few others from online like Jeneric and Texas Lion. KiWe has 3 ai in the game.

Got my HFS3 this morn, will be putting up a modding guide to it soon as the button layout (and general quality) needs improving but you can't really complain for 30 squid free delivery.

 

no lag but this is on sdtv's so I dunno about hd.

Yeah the AI's are crap lol, you still in the states go play some yankee's and post some matches online : )

Just moved house, recovering from spending waytoomuchmoney on it, practicing VF5 at home a lot, and looking to trundle through to London sometime next month to get totally and thoroughly owned in ways that might make me a better player.

I think when VF heads actually get there hands on VF5 for XBox 360 or PS3 they'll make some noise.

But I must admit it does seem awfully quiet...

I hope the turnout is good for rebirth I don't want them to cancel any future VF tournaments.

 

I would come if there was any casuals, can't come rebirth unfortunately, maybe I can get some more people interested in playing VF5.
I heard there will be ranking battles for VF5 soon, anyone know roughly when and where it will happen?

 

i mgiht be going, is it in harrow, im not particulaly bothered about VF ill play it now and again, nice to see some of the old crew,

 

yeah its starts from 12.30pm people... Registation is 3 hours

12.30 to 15:00 so plenty of time for casuals before and after the tournament. I'll be running it so please do come along.
