360 update = no xbox live?

    I've read a lot that the new update messes up your xbox so it can't connect to live. Anybody get this problem?

    Do we have any XBL update recently?

    What I heard is some PS3 owners had this kind of situation before when they finished updating. The entire console turned out to be dead and you have to change a new motherboard when you go to SONY......

    Heard it bump everyone off live today,the update was nothing...it was just a something they're doing for the future update for facebook and tweet on xbox live

    I updated and never got bumped off.

    The same happened to me, I couldn't log on live for a while. Turned off the 360 for a while and rebooted everything fine.

    Dennis sounds like something went wrong with the application of the patch. If for instance if power turns off prematurely it can totally fuck up your console..

    XBL wont let you in unless the console is patched, and if something happens due to the installation it wont be patched..
