1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

4 Moves During Offensive/Defensive Moves?

Hello, not new to the series but there's always been atleast 1 or 2
things that have always bugged me whenever a new VF comes out. This
time it's Kage's 4 moves that are supposedly done 'during defensive/
offensive moves'.

I don't understand what moves these are? He has 4 of them and there
is no precursor to let me know whether these are counter moves or
what? Help?

I am not sure if I am understanding correctly what you are trying to ask....

I am assuming the four moves are...

(During defensive move)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (ie evade attack)
(During defensive move)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif (ie offensive move)
(During offensive move)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif
(During offensive move)/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif

??

Uh, I think that's right. They're the 4 inputs that are listed under
Kage's 'Normal Moves' list, and I just now realized that they're also
in a few other characters lists as well. I don't like that the Dojo mode
seems to have taken out the 'play' feature to see these moves in action
without the manual input. That would have helped.

So what are they? Are they all as you mentioned? During the side-
step manuever? I haven't a clue because there's no clue about them
in the game.

*EDIT* Nevermind. Argh, I went through the VF5 booklet again and
see now that SIDESTEPPING is called offensive/defensive move. Tsch,
no wonder the confusion.
