    Fighting games are set to take the competitive stage at this weekend’s EB EXPO. After a series of qualifying events in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, the qualifiers are ready to descend upon EB EXPO in Sydney and battle for prizes and glory.

    Want to get amongst it? There is a final, Last Chance Qualifier to meet the best around the country in the top 16 of three different games. Plus, there will be free casual play stations, challenges and exhibitions.

    Saturday - TOP 4 and Prize presentations

    8pm Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
    9pm Super Street Fighter 4 AE

    - Dead Or Alive 5 and Tekken Tag 2 winner stays on challenges ongoing and Best Streak play off

    Thanks to everyone who attended and participated over the weekend. This was truly a first for VF in Australia as I think no other national event has ever seen the number of quality players represented from different states until now. Hopefully this is just a sign of things to come!

    I was really please too see my local guys battle it out with Melbourne, and can't wait for the next opportunity to do it again. In some ways, this was a passing of the torch for me to witness the blooding of the current gen in VF! Well done to all!

    Huge shoutout to everyone who made this possible, and the Shadowloo guys for providing the stream.

    A huge thanks to AlexMD and Berzerk for their efforts in organising, coordinating and running the tournament. And a special mention to Berzerk for being the trooper that he is and supporting the event even when he fell sick!
