7th DAN AKIRA Finally!!

Damn I am so HARD right now, yeah baby yeah. I finally reached 7th Dan with Akira last night, after 2 months!! I was up against a brick wall after I made it to 1st DAN. I was up and down, 1st Dan ... 1st Kyu, 1st Dan ... 1st Kyu. I took a break and played Warcraft III for a few weeks and came back, and almost immediately I was kickin names and takin asses...somehow that feels wrong... anywhoo.

It's been up and up. Check it. I lose to same level and lower level peeps occassionally. Pai disgusts me, the bitch is on drugs man! I have never lost to Champions or Hero or Vanquisher when they show up, but I'll lose a "Ranking Match"--how the hell does that work. I can't tell the difference in aggression and tactics between a 2nd Dan Pai and a Vanquisher Jacky, except the 2nd Dan Pai kicks my nuts and the Vanquisher doesn't.

Is it AI personality dependent, AI style dependent or do the higher levels really get harder, doesn't really seem so hard. I think Subjugator - or was it Vanquisher was the highest level I came across. And yes I am only playin the comp right now, hell yeah, I payed my goddamn money.

I feel confident I will make some good progress comin up the next few days and weeks. I can't do SPoD or DLC or Knee or AS3 (well ocassionally I do that one - and am amazed everytime).

One other thing, it was like 1 in every 10-12 matches that I would meet a 5th Dan, when I was at that level, at 6th Dan, the 6th Dans they kept comin. How is that done, how often should I expect ranking opportunities.

Please anyone who reads this, comment for me - I need all the help I can get regarding my points made, flames are welcome too, call me a green slimy horny chicken romancer if it makes it easy for you to then give me some pointers.

This is just unimportant fluff as nobody on this forum really gives a f**k whether or not you got 7th Dan in Kumite or not. These so called "Questions" you have could be very easily answered just by using a simple SEARCH. This is just an irrelevant post. And cursing out the moderator for moving your post into the appropraite forum doesnt help your cause much either.
Dont feel bad though, i made a similar mistake when i first joined, but I did NOT try to cuss out those who corrected me.

akira's 3 string combos are as hard as a guy in a whorehouse, they suck, the only one i've done is the combo, it's the easiest...does anyone know how to get that friggin rising knee to work? anyway, thanks for the tip on the combo guy

 

Guys, you should really chill out on the guy, man some of you people are so anal! Anyways I've had some of the same problems that you had, but practice makes perfect. I haven't played lately though because I do have a life /versus/images/icons/grin.gif

Ahem, I know this dosn't have to do anything with, but I don't give a damn on rankings. yeah yeah, SURE. The COMPUTER gets stronger, but you don't get shit when you rise a level. Oh, and by the way, you're weak man, i got THREE exellents on a conqurer Pai, and i'm not even in 7th Dan yet! (I really didn't mean to offend you, though)

Hey Kageman I hate you, you terd. Just kiddin man. Yeah I know I suck. Some of us - ok maybe only me - take a while to be good. I still can't stick the AS3 - I know I suck. I had a whale of a time this weekend. Going from 9th Dan to Champion. Now I know I am good vs the CPU so I shouldn't lose any more matches. But sometimes I get nervous when I have a ranking match or am angry or hungry - so I lose some matches. It doesnt help that I still sometimes freeze up for no reason. Leon is a piece o shit. He keeps kickin my ass at 7th Dan or higher like 75% of the time. Its the low attacks that kill me. I only rarely reverse one of them. If the little perv was attacking like an honorable figher does i'd kick his ass. And Aoi with those delayed knees of sweep combos are killin me - I often think she's done and then here she comes - WHAP!! i'm dead. Immediately after getting to 10th Dan I beat a hero, and then everyone wanted a piece o me. Every 10th Dan opponent was a Ranking Match and you know how queasy I get during rankings. So in order not to lose any of the 10 consecutive wins I cheated. Yeah I admit it, I am a cheating slimy ruggerworm. I quit games it seems I am about to lose. I am so ashamed right now.
Fuckit - I'm a Champion right now and I will never go down - so It was worth it.

 

Hey, i do that too. I agree with you on Aoi, but man, nobody should have trouble with Lion! For me, as soon as the match starts. I kept kickin' his ass, beating him to a bloody pulp, and sending him to hell. Well, i stopped using Lei Fei, and i'm using kage again. See ya, Newbie
