Although SVB does not feature Virtua Fighter as a headline game, they are encouraging community groups to set up their own tournaments.

This thread is for organising the Virtua Fighter tournament at SvB. Who's in?

I'm interested, as you can tell.

Unfortunately as they've put SVB in December I have an Xmas lunch on the Saturday. Can hold the Sunday free against the inevitable December diary onslaught, but will also need to know that there's some people coming (although I'll take a day's 1 to 1 coaching if you want a Christmas present in exchange!)

 

PS will tell the few players I know personally to get on this thread..

 

I will pretty much only go for VF5FS, but I'm still only a maybe

 

If it's on (like Donkey Kong) I can get a PS3 setup there on the Sunday.

Also, does anyone want to ask the SVB people to post a link to this thread so the VF players can find it? I'm happy to get in touch with them if that's easier, but maybe you guys know them on a personal or whatever.

 

No idea if I'll be able to go to this (highly doubt it) but you need to decide which day the event will be on as I know some of you will want to play DOA5 and others will want to play TTT2 and if you're only coming down on one day, we'd need to pick the right day so most people can go.

Tickets for SVB are for both days, but I guess not everyone will want to travel out on both days. I'm also checking with the SCV players to see if they're holding a side tournament and if so, what day, as they'd be in the same situation.

I'm only going if vf5 is there make it happen I might be able to draw in a few people I really wish people wouldn't boycott the game
