That's the first thought that came to mind when I heard about the redcounter/yellow counter stuff. Jab-fest.

Hopefully all the matches won't be like that.

 

excuse me if i'm being a bit dumb here, but i have to ask.. in the final match, just after jacky uses his new throw for the first time (about 40 secs in), doesn't minami roll forward? didn't they take forward recovery rolls out in vf4?

Naah...they're in evo for sure. I believe I've only seen them in face up/feet towards like the vid. Richard (who I've seen use them from time to time) thinks it only happens when the standing player isn't pressing . I've only done it a couple times so I haven't the foggiest...I thought it had something to do with the standing opponent back dashing/back CDing but the vid seems to support Richard's hypothesis since Jacky is moving forward & doesn't seem to be using . Somebody knows for sure. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Oh. And you see they gave Lau back his standing cancel. /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I suppose I missed this in the volumes of scattered FT info.

man, Shun's stage is disappointing.
There was no Lau in that clip because that Sarah player took out the rest of that team before the Lau player could play.

Homestay on Fire. The flailing Arms move that Aki has seems to be getting more popular? ST struggled out of here - seems like the throw will be more about the mixups after in FT. Joseph (Aki) had impressive stepping imo.

I seen that one today, he made short work of Lei against that wall. This is the best one because everyone was able to fight but Akira still pwns them all...I want to see some better Jacky action along with Pai(even though I hate her), Vanessa, Goh, Brad, hell everyone we didn't see yet!
