1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

anyone else ever play a playstation 2 game called Way Of The Samurai ? there isn't even a vs. mode until you unlock it but i love this game's relatively simple and complex techniques, i can own my friend on it moreso than on VF4evo what with all my ukemi and awase skills

i like the fact that with timing every move can be insta - blocked, i think that it's sorta like DOA because i heard someone complain that newbies can button mash a guard button and still win, but my friend tries that in WOTS and i own him still

anyone else play Way of the Samurai?

The new one will own... the old one had a lot of wasted potential. Too short and not enough depth in the fighting engine. Hopefully the new one will kick ass.

I sorta liked Way of the Samurai for the time that I had it. I, too, wish it had been a bit longer.

According to the credits, WotS was produced by bam! Entertainment (known for so many Cartoon Network-related Game Boy Advance games) and developed by two companies called Spike and Acquire. Wasn't Acquire the same company that developed the Tenchu games?
