AAHHHHHHHH!!!!! Help?

I just can't understand this game. One second i'm beathing the carp of of the cpu and next my ass is on the ground dead. I just fought a 3rd dan Jeffery and whoped on him. They put me up against another one and he made me feel like it was my first time playing the dam game. What's with this. One seconed I could be beating the crap out of a 5th dan and the next i'll be eathing dirt from a 7th kyu. This is driving me nuts!!!

 

If beating the computer is all you wanna do, d+P -> throw works well when they're close, and every character's got a pattern that the computer falls for over and over. In jeffry's case you can probably f+K+G over and over until they hit the wall or ring out.

If you wanna beat humans, try to read some of the stuff on this site, like go to the home page and click anyone's name on the left to see stuff that's been written about him. The basic guessing game in VF, at least for a lot of characters like the wrestlers, is pretty much attack-or-throw, and you use small moves to set up the big attack or the throw.
