ahem... which is better, high king, or emporer?

just wondering... P.S., i don't want this simple thread turned into an Insane Asylum (like that newbie war shit)

 

High King is considered better. It's all in here.

 

My Pai is an emperor and i had above 90%win ratio all the way,if i have to perform better to get to high king with any of my other character I may as well give up now cause i've no hope. /versus/images/icons/confused.gif

 

Just because High King is considered better, it doesn't mean that Emperor is bad. And getting there with such a win ratio isn't that easy. Look at it this way: One loss in the wrong fight can decide the final ranking - You need to have ten consecutive wins (against same ranked opponents) to go from Subjugator to Stromlord. Screw it up and you'll go to emperor even if this is the only loss you ever had.
So i wouldn't be too concerned about it. Cheer up!
And with human competiton, rankings mean nothing anyway...

 

yeah human opposition!!!i cant find none anywhere but i guess beating ten same ranked opponents wont be too hard.

That's what i keep saying, that ranks don't mean shit.

 

i dunno kage i think ranks mean a fair bit ,and the amount of matches youve won especially in versus mode you have an idea what you are up against.

I bet youd be more confident fighting a 1st kyu rather than a high king
