Akira back stagger combos

    I'm looking for some help on this. What are some good back stagger combos for akira that are known to work in evo? I've been trying this one from Creed's 'instant kill' thread :

    QCB+[P] -> [P] -> m-shrm (TR) -> sidekick -> yoho -> ...(whatever)

    After countless tries I still can't hit the yoho. The opp always turns and blocks. Creed also suggested trying m-shrm instead but I can't get that either. Does this combo work in evo? What about some other combos?

    I'm trying to 'take my game to the next level', so to speak, and I really want to learn these types of combos. Any help would be great! /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

    try putting the cpu's stagger down to slow. With alot of these combos I found it really hard to hit the launcher after backstagger with the cpu's stagger set to normal or high.

    Like it was already suggested, if you want to land slow moves after a back stagger, then set the CPU struggle speed to slow.

    Pretty much any back stagger combo that worked in VF4 will still work in Evo. A standard and probably the most practical back stagger combo for Akira is the SDE ~ DbPm. For something unique to Evo you can also go for the SgPm ~ SDE ([2_][6][P][P]) after the back stagger.

    try do the yoho part in very timely buffered way /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gifwhatever is your previous move you can easily buffer yoho, man.[6][6][6][P],[3][3][4][6][P]
