A bit disapointed.
It looks Ok but the price is the same if not higher as figurines that have a far better finishing.(ex Dragon's crown).
I love Akira and all but putting 150 bucks = it has to be "perfect".

Anyone got any idea what the other characters will be? Akira is cool, but my money would be spent on Shun Di! Can you image the detail that could be put into Shun Di if done right.

I'm really considering buying this, but $180 is pretty steep. Everyone I know who bought the Ryo Shenmue figure is extremely satisfied with it, though.

A colleague at work bought a Ryo one. It's pretty awesome and absolutely massive as well.

Lets face it we rarely get any decent VF figurines.

Wish it had more detail on the belt, it's missing the Japanese lettering on the end

Hello I have the Akira statue preordered and I don't like the fact that his belt doesn't have the details it should have. The belt should have orange Japanese lettering on the ends with a gold pine stripe like finish on one end. I hope you can relay this to the artist. It would be ashamed if this didn't live up to the Shenmue statue.... In all thanks I hope I can keep my pre-order but I expect good quality work.

Um wow, I canceled my pre-order because I didn't think the statue was up to my standards.
I was hoping one of you guys would post pics and impressions of it. Maybe change my mind but atlas nobody has received them yet..... Which is crazy
